Will everything be ok in the end...?

Jimmy Hendrix once said that everything is ok in the end. If it's not ok, it's not the end. I used to believe that quote was true to every part of my life. And for the everyday minute stuff it is. But what about those in Japan. What about those who have lost families and friends, homes, children, possessions, letters, photographs? Who have lost everything but memories? What do you say to them? Everything will be ok? It's not the end yet? Because how do you decide when the end is? I always think it's the moment you give up on hope and faith and love and life and all the things that keep us together and holding on. So perhaps this quote does apply. Even if you have lost everything, if you're still standing there, still holding onto what is left, perhaps it isn't the end yet for you. I really hope that is the case.
