One Manic Week...

This week has literally been mental. I never thought it could go so fast but it did. I also never thought I could have sat so many exams, was given mounds of homework (three quarters of it us already completed), spent 12 hours in London rehearsing and performing a concert, oh and somewhere managed to fit in watching Gossip Girl on Wednesday and an episode of Dawson's Creek every other night. Did I mention I went to bed at 10pm each day??

How the hell I got through it, I don't know but I did and so now it is Saturday and besides doing a timed German reading practice paper, I have no homework at all. (well, besides revision for exams that is!). If it wasn't for the fact that it is raining I'd be hitting the shops or spending the day at the beach. I guess I could always catch up with sleep......

Have an awesome weekend.

Summer Resolutions...

So it's no longer New Year, but I broke all those resolutions in seconds so I have created a new list of summer ones:
- cook more actual food and less cakes and also eat salad or fruit salad at school for lunch instead of more cake or pudding
- spend time in the sunshine and try to tan rather than stay the pasty white colour I've been all winter
- spend less time shopping and more time revising for exams
- also stop cramming and start actually revising, even if that means giving up an episode of One Tree Hill a night
- stop biting nails
- stop fiddling with nails
- stop doodling in class, even if they are 'works of art'
- become better at communicating with friends and send emails to old friends once a week so that they don't think I'm a total b*tch who forgot them
- be more patient, tolerant, understanding and open to new ideas
- always be positive
- stop letting stupid things get me down: there's always someone having a worse day
- appreciate that life isn't perfect but that it definately rocks!
